On an isolated hill near the Rio Guadiana, there is a dolmen complex consisting of two megalithic tombs (antas) located 27 meters apart.
The larger dolmen, known as the Anta Grande de Corte Serrão, features a polygonal chamber. Although all the stones are fractured and some lean inward, six upright stones (megaliths) are visible on the surface. The headstone stands out for its impressive dimensions, measuring 2.50 m × 1.70 m. The corridor, approximately 17 meters long, has a sub-rectangular shape, with slabs joined to the surrounding ground, and it would originally have been covered.
The smaller dolmen, called the Anta Pequenina de Corte Serrão, also has a polygonal chamber formed by seven upright stones, but it shows no remains of a corridor.
