Aldeia da Estrela enjoys a privileged location on the shores of the Alqueva reservoir. With the rising waters, the village now sits on a peninsula surrounded by the waters of Alqueva.

Thanks to its exceptional location, a small pier was built where boats crossing the Alqueva dam can dock. It’s an excellent spot for a stroll, a picnic, or even a swim.
