Next to the Guadiana River, now the Alqueva reservoir, on the Spanish side, we find the Vila Real pier and marina. It is a place with everything you need to have a good time. In addition to the pier, there is a restaurant with panoramic views, a bar, a car park, a picnic area, and a playground.
Boat trips are available on the Alqueva lake, where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Juromenha Fortress, or even travel between Spain and Portugal, visiting Juromenha and having lunch at a local restaurant. The boarding and disembarking point in Portugal is at the Juromenha pier.
