The Hermitage of Santo António was probably built during the 17th century and later restored and decorated in 1849.
This is a single-nave chapel, typical of traditional Alentejo popular architecture. Its interior is simple, with the only decorative element being the dome adorned with raised plasterwork.
From the hermitage, visitors can enjoy a beautiful view over Santo Aleixo da Restauração and its Parish Church.
Near the hermitage is the Hermitage Park, which includes a picnic area, a space for pilgrimages, a viewpoint, and a fitness trail.
