The Arab Well, dating back to the 14th century, was reopened to the public in 1999. It reflects the Muslim presence in Moura during the reign of King D. Dinis, which was significant, particularly in the establishment of the Mouraria district and in royal documents associated with it.
Located in the center of the Mouraria neighborhood, the well represents Arab heritage, along with a collection of ceramics and candis. Additionally, visitors can see a Hand of Fatima (amulet in bone), an Islamic casket, and several epigraphs. These artifacts are showcased through the Arab Exhibit.
