Museu Municipal da Vidigueira

The Museu Municipal da Vidigueira is housed in the former Vasco da Gama Primary School, a building that has been renovated and adapted for museum use.

The museum is organised into two thematic sections. The first focuses on the history of primary education in the municipality, from the inauguration of the school building in 1884 to the end of its use as an educational institution in 1991.

The second section presents the economic development of the region from the 1930s onwards, highlighting traditional trades, commerce, and agriculture.
