Museu Alberto Gordillo

The Museu Alberto Gordillo, inaugurated in 2011, displays a large collection of jewelry donated by the jeweler Alberto Gordillo to the city of Moura.

The museum’s collection includes approximately 226 pieces of contemporary art, although only about fifty are on display. Highlights include the “Web Necklace” created in 1973, made of 300 g of platinum and 150 diamonds, which was previously exhibited at the London Diamond Exchange. The museum also features twelve bronze sculptures forming part of the “Imaginary Garden.”
