The Mourão river beach is located next to the Picnic Park, about 1km from the town of Mourão.
The beach, with 320m of sand of which 100m are supervised, is the second largest certified beach on Lake Alqueva. It features a lawn, 45 sun umbrellas, and a floating pool.
Located next to the Mourão Picnic Park, access to the beach is via a wooden walkway. The picnic park offers wooden tables and benches, shaded areas, and barbecues.
