The Main Church of Granja stands out among the other houses in the village. Built in the 16th century with a rectangular plan and a spacious nave, the church features interior paintings of great interest.
Originally constructed in the 14th century as the Church of São Brás, it belonged to the Hospitallers of St. John of Acre and later passed to the Order of Avis. The original Gothic temple was completely rebuilt at the end of the 16th century by order of D. Teotónio de Bragança. Over the years, the church underwent several interventions, with the most recent restoration carried out in 1960.
When visiting the church, we come across some changes, particularly on the façades, where the Baroque, Philippine, and classical styles still remain. Inside is the throne box of D. José, dating from 1761, the image of Nossa Senhora das Neves, the image of São Brás, and São Sebastião. There is also some furniture that is in good condition. On the north side of the façade, there is a square tower with four eyelets where three cast bells are placed.
