The Amieira river beach is located next to the village of Amieira in the municipality of Portel. It has 600 meters of sand, 150 meters of which are supervised, and is currently the largest certified beach on Lake Alqueva.
The beach includes a grassy area, sunshades, a bar, a restaurant, changing rooms, a medical post, and water sports equipment that you can rent.
Near the beach there is a mooring and a picnic area.
