The small picnic park at the dam is located about 500 metres from the Alqueva dam, next to the road that connects to Moura. The park has tables, shade, toilets and a car park.

Continue to the Alqueva dam. If you are coming from Moura, when you get close to the dam, turn left at the roundabout. The picnic area is about 20 meters away.
